Calendula - Orange Flash

Another take on a softer hued calendula. Orange Flash has soft pinky-orange petals with a  darker bronze underside. Stunning in the garden or the vase as the petals seem to glow in contrast to the dark bronze centre. As with all calendulas the flowers are edible and are used medicinally in ointments, creams and tinctures. Easy to grow plants are 45-60cm tall and bloom heavily in spring and fall with lighter flowering in the heat of summer. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid calendulas.
