Ordering Seeds

All seeds are $3.00 (CDN) per packet. The number of seeds per packet varies with the variety— see item descriptions for details. We are working on pricing for bulk / grower quantities. Until these are set up in the shopping cart system, please inquire for bulk pricing by sales@hawthornfarm.ca

You may order using our online shopping cart (via PayPal), or by regular mail using this printable order form (opens pdf in new browser window). Payment (cheque, cash or money order) must accompany all mail orders. Currently we are not set up to handle phone orders.

Shipping

Currently we ship only within Canada. Unless otherwise specified, shipping is by Canada Post ground. We ship within 1-2 business days, so you should receive your order in about a week, unless the mail is slow.

The shipping fee is added automatically at checkout. We use a PayPal shopping cart because it is safe and secure. You don't need a PayPal account to use it, just a credit card. Click here to learn more about PayPal.

Taxes

The PayPal shopping cart can handle only one domestic tax rate, so online customers from Ontario will see a single 13% rate (GST plus 8% PST). Those in other provinces will see a single tax rate of 5% (GST).

Warranty and Substitutions

Hawthorn Farm Organic Seeds is not responsible for any losses in the event of a crop failure. Our warranty is limited to refunding the purchase price of the seed, or replacement. If we are sold out of a particular variety, we will substitute with a similar variety unless you request otherwise. If we are unable to substitute, we will issue a credit note.
