Scarlet Nantes
65 days. A timeless heirloom favorite. This is the carrot to grow if your soil is on the heavy side. Bright-orange, very sweet, slightly tapered, 15-20 cm. roots have have a rounded tip. A good keeper and makes tasty juice.
Cosmic Purple
70 days. Yellow core, orange flesh and deep purple skin make this carrot a favorite with kids and adults alike. Danvers type roots are 15-20 cm. long, with crunchy flesh and a sweet/spicy flavour. Developed in 2005 but did you know that prior to the 1500s purple carrots were the norm? Orange carrots made an appearance only after The Dutch Royal Family (the House of
Orange) had Dutch plant breeders develop them. Highly recommended. Packet contains 300 seeds.
